Chelsie is a Georgia native from Lawrenceville, GA.  She graduated from Mill Creek High School then attended Georgia Southern University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Child and Family Development.  During her time at Georgia Southern, she was a zealous mental health advocate and co-founded the University’s chapter of a national mental health advocacy organization.

In 2017, Chelsie began attending law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall law school where she earned an award for excellence in pro bono service.  She was also awarded the Edward J. Henning award, awarded by the Georgia Bar Association to one student at each Georgia law school who exhibits excellence in alternative dispute resolution.  Chelsie also takes pride in her participation in a civil liberties seminar where she defended students in school disciplinary hearings.

In her free time, Chelsie enjoys spending time with her husband and aussiedoodle named Leroy.
