Aaliyah was born in Boca Raton, Florida. Later, she moved to McDonough, Georgia and graduated from Locust Grove High School. Aaliyah received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Georgia State University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

In May 2023, Aaliyah graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, she was a member of the Black Law Student Association and the Florida Trial Team. While competing for a spot on the Florida Trial Team, Aaliyah was a Final Four competitor and she along with her trial partner won Best Team. Aaliyah received the CALI Excellence Award in Trial Practice.

In her free time, Aaliyah enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with loved ones.
