G. Wesley Bugg is a Georgia native from Decatur, GA. He graduated from Greenforest/McCalep Christian Academy then attended Emory University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Emory, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany, become a certified lifeguard and played several seasons of collegiate basketball. He later went onto University of Miami Law of School where he again had the opportunity to study abroad in Switzerland. In law school, he was honored to be awarded the Dean’s certificate of Achievement Award in Substantive Criminal Procedure. While in Miami, he helped develop CourtVision International, Inc. An international organization that mentors young men through sports.

After graduating from law school, he had the opportunity to serve as the COO of Reaching Our Brothers Everywhere (ROBE), Inc. ROBE is a non-profit organization that seeks to educate, equip, and empower men to impact an increase in breastfeeding rates and a decrease in infant mortality rates within African-American communities. Some of the signature programs G. Wesley has helped create is “Hoop Therapy” – where fathers come together to discuss child rearing while playing basketball.

In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, playing video games, reading, being physically active with basketball, football, or swimming and intellectual debates.
