Dorothy Paul Lead Attorney
Dorothy graduated from Kennesaw State University (KSU) with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Studies and minored in Gender & Women’s Studies. While at KSU, she served as President of the Political Science Club.
Dorothy attended Mercer University School of law. While in law school, Dorothy participated in the Habeas Project, a clinic that provides pro bono representation in state post-conviction matters. In addition, she was active in numerous student organizations, including the Black Law Student Association, the Asian Pacific Student Association, and the International Law Student Association. During her studies, she lived and worked as a law clerk in Sydney, Australia. In addition, she studied Refugee Immigration Protection Law. Dorothy also traveled to Argentina and studied Emerging Markets in Latin America.
Dorothy earned her Juris Doctor in 2015. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association for Black Women Attorneys, and the American Bar Association.
Prior to joining Lister & Holt, Dorothy practiced family law with a specialization in Juvenile Dependency matters. She has some experience in environmental law and employment law.
Dorothy is an avid runner; she enjoys participating in 5K races in the community. She also enjoys traveling and cooking fusion dishes.
