Dustin is a native of Mount Vernon, Georgia, and a graduate of Wheeler Co. High School. He continued his education at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Justice Studies. Dustin graduated from the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida, with a Juris Doctor degree.
While working toward his undergraduate degree in Statesboro, Dustin was the deputy clerk of court and judicial assistant for the Municipal Court of Statesboro, Georgia. After graduation, Dustin relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he became a courtroom representative for the probation department of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He conducted probation violation hearings and in court probation matters across the entire Thirteenth Circuit. He then moved to the private sector where he managed a very successful criminal defense firm that represented a large and diverse group of clients throughout central and southwest Florida.
Dustin relocated to the Atlanta area in 2016. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is licensed to practice in all State and Superior Courts. He joined Lister & Holt, LLC in 2017 and is dedicated to zealously advocating for all of his clients.
