Daniel Partain Attorney
Daniel is a native of Gwinnett County. He graduated from South Gwinnett High School. It was there that he discovered his passion for the law, and decided to become an attorney. Daniel obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Georgia.
Daniel became an attorney in November 2000. He has spent the majority of his career as a public defender in the Northern, Alcovy, Rockdale, and Piedmont Judicial Circuits. Daniel has handled all aspects of criminal litigation including committal hearings, arraignments, plea negotiations, motion preparation and argument, judge and jury trials, probation revocation hearings, and appeals. Wherever Daniel has practiced, he has endeavored to fight for the rights of his clients, and to make their stories heard.
Daniel feels that it is important to give back to the community. During his time as a public defender, he participated in the "Transition into Law Practice" program offered by the State Bar of Georgia to mentor newly admitted attorneys. In addition, he was a work-based mentor for the Work Based Learning program offered through the Rockdale Career Academy to provide high school students the skills to work in a law office and a better understanding of the criminal justice system.
Daniel lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and two daughters. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and a member of the bar for the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
